Freshman Sadie Engelhardt of Ventura covered the 3-mile course at the Ventura County Championships at Lake Casitas in Ojai in a time of 17:12.5. Her performance ranks among the top 10 all-time on the Lake Casitas layout. Ventura finished second to Westlake in the varsity girls race 40-69.
